Full Circle ReSet

Full Circle ReSet maps the cycles of change, returning, and becoming. As a visual narrative to complement McInnis’ Ph.D. dissertation, the exhibition draws from material culture and qualitative inquiry to holistically tell stories of foundation, communication, age, and the renaissance of experience.

Employing diverse fibers to learn about their specific attributes revealed that assumptions about wool, silk, and other fibers can be very similar to societal impressions of age, appearance, and abilities. The exhibition was on view at the Bridge Gallery, Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia, Athens, GA, March 02–30, 2023.
